NEPSE Technical Outlook: Short-Term Bullish Rebound Tests Key Resistance

Following back-to-back Green Candles  adding 52 points to close at 2,585.04, the daily technical chart of the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) reflects a strong momentum shift from early-September lows near 2,501 points.

Support & Resistance Levels

Technical Zone Price Range Significance
Immediate Resistance 2,588 – 2,600 Confluence of 20-day SMA and psychological barrier.
Major Resistance 2,630 – 2,656 50-day SMA alignment and previous swing high resistance.
Immediate Support 2,550 – 2,560 Prior session breakaway level and recent consolidation floor.
Key Demand Zone 2,501 – 2,525 Recent local swing low / critical multi-week support.

Trading Scenario & Outlook

  1. A sustained daily close above 2,600 points supported by turnover exceeding Rs. 5 Arba will confirm a trend reversal targeting the 2,630 – 2,650 resistance cluster.

  2.  Failure to clear the 2,588–2,600 resistance zone on declining volume could trigger short-term profit booking, offering potential re-entry opportunities near the 2,550 support zone.

Why the Market Is Rising ?

The recent uptick comes as Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle prepares to introduce an action plan aimed at reforming and strengthening the stock market. Expectations that the proposed measures could boost investor confidence have been cited as a key driver behind the market's gains over the past two sessions.
